Goodlife Training

Starting in January and March WorkStart is a course of 6 workshops for people with learning disabilities in Wolverhampton and Dudley who don’t have a job. Each course is designed to:

  • introduce people to the idea that they might be able to work
  • build self-confidence and motivation
  • improve people’s ability to engage with work and try new things
  • increase choices and prepare for taking the next step with support

Courses will be run from the Friends Meeting House, Summerfield Road, Wolverhampton, and our workshop at the  Ruskin Glass Centre in Stourbridge.

At the end of the course each participant will have a personal work profile and be able to get one to one support from Goodlife to explore work options as part of our Gateway to Work project.

Workstart is funded by the European Social Fund and the Education & Skills Funding Agency via the Black Country Community Grants Programme
